USCIS is the truest difinition of patience, it will humble you!!!
My I-485 was approved after an awful wait. Can’t describe the “sinking heart” feeling of waking up each morning or in the middle of the night to check this app, at times more than 5 times per day!
Please hang in there, your turn will come! Be patient and please don’t waste your frustration because you’ll end up depressed!
NB: PD for I-140 is July 21, 2022. Came to the US on an O1A visa on June 28, 2022 and filed I-140 3 weeks later. I self-petitioned after hearing how much I’d to pay an immigration attorney - tens of thousands of US dollars. Fellow humans, you’ve no idea how depressing that amount sounds to an African coming from Europe to California, the most expensive place I’ve EVER visited or lived in. Yes, I unceremoniously became a lawyer myself and filed my EB2-NIW (instead of EB1 I equally qualified for) from strach to approval, No RFE!!! I did everything myself, thanks to YouTube, Lawfully, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, BELIEVING IN MYSELF and putting in the hard work compiling all kinds of God-knows-what evidence.
I learned a lot through this app, heard people’s testimonies, frustrations….just a rainbow of emotions! I’m writing this to encourage someone who’s eagerly waiting hoping to get some great news, please hang in, you’re next in line!!!

it says that the estimated time for uscis to make a decision is 2 weeks. i kept on reading that this isnt accurate. 😢 is anyone here already got their approval?

hey guys so when we applied the f2a it was at california center and then it was actively reviewed at potomac the next letter stated once we received it. how do we know if its still at potomac or if its transferred? our lawyer said its at california .. she wasnt aware of potomac… im so confused
