i130
i had my interview i-130 and went good,
but when i check the status online it says : we cancelled or descheduled the interview scheduled for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number ## We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.
but i clearly had the interview done. and the date that says it was cancelled was 4 days BEFORE the interview.
did this happen to anybody?
EAD taking so long
UPDATE: approved today!
Hi everyone, it's been 211 days since I submitted my full vawa application and now I'm still waiting for my EAD. I wonder if the rfe that they asked for in May for my I360 is causing my EAD application to slow down or does it not have any relation? I haven't responded to the rfe yet because they asked for police clearance and I literally got the fingerprints done yesterday. they didn't give me a deadline for the rfe.
I-693 Orange Paper Notice
Hello Family,
I had a quick question. so I was looking through some paperwork & and came across this orange I-693 deficiency notice that I receive on 01/04/2022. And it states:
An initial review of evidence submitted with your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, determined that the evidence submitted with your application is deficient for the following reason(S):
• A completed and signed 1-693 was not submitted.
You will be required to submit information and evidence to address these deficiencies.
• If you receive an interview notice in the mail, you must bring the information and evidence required to your interview appointment. Failure to bring the information and evidence ot your interview appointment may result in the denial of your Form I-485.
• If your case does not require an interview, you wil receive a Request for Evidence with further instructions.
DO NOT MAIL DOCUMENTS AT THIS TIME. Mailing documents before receiving one of the notices referenced above may delay your case.
*Ok so it wasn’t until 05/2024 that I finally received the notice to send my medicals & I was wondering if because I got an RFE for the medical if that would apply to the second bulletin point that my case doesn’t require an interview?
Let me know what yall think and if you’ve also received that letter & still ended up with an interview
I feel terrible
I feel terrible I had my interview in April and everything seemed to go well, but it will be 4 months since I had the interview at Federal Plaza in NYC but I haven't received any responses yet. My lawyer says when that happens it's because a second interview is going to be scheduled. I feel terrible.
