NVC email of “Introduction to Document Collection”
If you received this introduction email before the welcome letter/email, would you please share your experience? How many days after the introduction email did you receive the welcome letter/email? I see that most people receive the case creation information first. I received the introduction email but no welcome letter/email…
I don’t understand why it is denied
I got this update on my case today. I’m a SIJS with an approved I-360. My priority date was current when we sent the application but it’s not current now, maybe that’s why they denied the case? I don’t know and I feel very anxious 😔

FINALLY THE LONGEST______WAIT IS OVER!! I485 approved 🎉
Hello everyone,
I am thrilled to share that my I-485 has been approved today! This journey was full of different experiences—I consulted the Mayor, my case got misplaced for 2years🤦🏾♀️sued USCIS for delays(this expedited everything), and received an RFE for medical. I believe my change of state might have caused delays.
On July 2, 2024, I got an interview notification for the next week. But this morning, USCIS called to say I no longer needed the interview and my card is being mailed right now.
Thank you to this amazing community for your support and advice. For those still waiting, stay strong—your day will come!

New card being produced today. Not current anymore!
Got new card being produced today. Been CRP since Feb 13. PD Oct 22 RoW and no longer current this month. Excited but a little concerned after what I read about being approved outside current status. will inform lawyer about next steps but generally thankful!
Good luck everyone.

My experience with Advance Parol
I just came back to visit my family in Ecuador. Everything was perfect!!! anyways when I came back to USA they asked me if I am an American Citizen I told her that just my husband and my daughter does and I have my Advance Parol then I made the same line with my husband and daughter. The police just ask for my document travel and took my fingerprint, was super easy and no problem at all.

What does it mean when the I-751 status changes from "Ready to Schedule for Interview" to "Fingerprints Were Taken"?
My case was marked "Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" on November 16, 2023, after submitting the RFE and having it transferred to another office for processing. Today, the status changed to "Fingerprints Were Taken," even though my fingerprints were taken in March 2022. Is this update to the case normal? I've noticed this update shows in some cases after the interview, which I am still waiting to be scheduled.
case was submitted Oct. 2021 🙃
