FINALLY THE LONGEST______WAIT IS OVER!! I485 approved 🎉
Hello everyone, I am thrilled to share that my I-485 has been approved today! This journey was full of different experiences—I consulted the Mayor, my case got misplaced for 2years🤦🏾‍♀️sued USCIS for delays(this expedited everything), and received an RFE for medical. I believe my change of state might have caused delays. On July 2, 2024, I got an interview notification for the next week. But this morning, USCIS called to say I no longer needed the interview and my card is being mailed right now. Thank you to this amazing community for your support and advice. For those still waiting, stay strong—your day will come!

@zoey❤️ :) , Hi is the USCIS also calling applicants or it will be only mail? because I have an interview on Monday but then just yesterday my case update and back to case was how fingerprints were taken?

@J E for my case, he called me probably because he didn’t think there was need for an interview. I also got a fingerprint case update the day before they called me. my interview was scheduled on Monday the 29th too. Wish you the best of luck!!!

@Mona A.Thank you!! I got to know that it was misplaced after my Lawyer contacted the Congressman to mail USCIS after my request to expedite the case was denied.
