Questions about EB3 I-140 approval and receipts of I-485, I-765, and I-131 as a F-1 student
I have a quick question. I got approved for my I-140 recently on February as well as received some receipts of I-765, I-485, and I-131. Some people advise me to let my school know about my I-140 approval to terminate my SEVIS because I’m no longer an international student. I also applied to my OPT after college graduation on December 2020 and I’m still waiting for combo card. However, my friend who is also doing EB3 advises me that I should maintain studying and doing EB3 in order to get higher chance of green card. Is that true? Anyone knows about this?
travelling within the US
my form 130 and 485 together with permit to travel and ead are all concurrently filed last October 2020 (still nothing by the way - just case received) im from New Jersey and me and my husband would need to travel to California by April to attend a wedding. my question is - can i travel within the US considering my status? has anyone here tried it? if yes - what proof of identification do they require in the airport? is my foreign passport enough? thanks guys!

I submitted form I-601 waiver for ground of Inadimissibility 7 months now and I didn’t get any response from USCIS I submitted inquiry they said the couldn’t tell me specifically what time or date my case will be approved. please kindly share your experience with if you have gone through this before. thanks for your information.

I have a pending appeal Asylum case in Immigration court and I am preparing documents for VAWA application based on abusive marriage. My work permit (category c9) that I have is soon to expire, my question is while I am preparing and gathering all the documents for VAWA petition, can I file for my EAD renewal (category C8) based on the pending Asylum case? Once I have filed for the Work permit would it be okay to file for I-360 if no decision is made during this time and I have a emergency my father passed away 😢 what should I do can i travel to my home country
Steps from F2A to IR1
(Edited: Beneficiary is out of US, and have never been there, petitioner is in US)
My petitioner spouse got citizenship few months back.And that it will be our second marriage anniversary next month.
How can we update citizenship status in USCIS, from f2A to IR1?
Meanwhile I am concerned whether updating to IR will speed up my case or not. California center.

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is extending the flexibilities it announced on March 30, 2020, to assist applicants, petitioners and requestors who are responding to certain:
Requests for Evidence;
Continuations to Request Evidence (N-14);
Notices of Intent to Deny;
Notices of Intent to Revoke;
Notices of Intent to Rescind;
Notices of Intent to Terminate regional centers; and
Motions to Reopen an N-400 Pursuant to 8 CFR 335.5, Receipt of Derogatory Information After Grant.
In addition, USCIS will consider a Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal or Motion or Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings (Under Section 336 of the INA), if:
The form was filed up to 60 calendar days from the issuance of a decision we made; and
We made that decision anytime from March 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
Notice/Request/Decision Issuance Date:
This flexibility applies to the above documents if the issuance date listed on the request, notice or decision is between March 1, 2020, and June 30, 2021, inclusive.
Response Due Date:
USCIS will consider a response to the above requests and notices received within 60 calendar days after the response due date set in the request or notice before taking any action. Additionally, we will consider a Form N-336 or Form I-290B received up to 60 calendar days from the date of the decision before we take any action.
