ok let me give you guys details of the reason for the waiver. I am not from here as you all know that almost everyone here he or she is not from here. I am from Africa, so I married back home then but the marriage was not working before I came over here, and when I got here I need to re- married before then, my ex wife back in Africa has file for divorce because the marriage has broken beyond repair so she needed to re- married herself so she when and looked for someone to helped her file for divorce back home. she got a divorce but this divorce was not from appropriate quarter and they sent me a copy which I used when I got married here 2015. however, the marriage here broken again when we started filing to change my status all my efforts to make it work was proved abortive so she withdrew the application we have to go our separate ways. so USICS had to sent a letter to after she withdrew the application that, they will denied me because the find out that the divorce letter I submitted was fraudulent document. All this was in my marriage here in the state, so when I married my second wife here I went to do another divorce here in the name of the first woman because my lawyer said that will put the record straight I did that and submitted it when I was filing for my immigration status again we went for interview around March 2019 the official, said we are good my for i130 was approved a month later we got a letter from them that because of the past divorce marriage should submit RFE on a ground of Inadmissibility which I did with overwhelming evidence till now nothing from then and it frustrating.

remember your case is a complicated case, so give yourself enough time and patience. they'll approve you only if your current marriage is real.

yes it’s a real marriage, we even invited them to our if they wanted to but the officer said she be believed our marriage is real. we live together here in Chicago. thanks man!

just keep the faith man I Honestly think your gonna get approved,you been here a long time and you been through a lot just be patient and keep your marriage happy and with the help of god I hope you get approved

@oR thanks Man, appreciate your word of encouragement my faith just popped up again. I cannot explain to you what I have gone through. I have been here for almost 7years now I don’t have any criminal records whatsoever. both home and here in fact, I submitted police clearance with the recent REF every city that I have lived before. my Mother sick and died I couldn’t go home to visit

one more question, after your interview did they send you a decision that your case was denied?

nop. the only thing that, I received from them was the recipit of the waiver form.

did they asked you to file for waiver or your lawyer suggested to do it on his own?

they asked me to do that , after the interview and I got approved for I-130 already

when did you submit your waiver???

Nebraska or Potomac.?

I honestly don’t have a clue where the service center is . I know that we submitted it in Chicago

I strongly believe that it'll be approved before September this year, that will make a 2 year period

all the waivers are submitted to Chicago office and then when they send you your receive notice it will tell you if it was sent to Potomac or Nebraska, that will give you a timeframe for when they will approve it. Nebraska usually takes 15 months to approve a waiver and Potomac right now he’s taking more than two years.

it’s weird that you don’t know where your waiver is, they usually take about a month to sent you the receive notice after you submit your waiver.

@88 I do think the service area for Chicago filers is MO . because all the receipt notice is from MO.

I noticed that

Only Nebraska and Potomac processes 601-A waivers. You can you look it up if you go to uscis case status page, just put your LIN number and it will say where’s at. good luck

@Amerika how long did it take and what was the reason for your i601 and also when did you apply and get approved. am dying slowly please give me hope

USCIS asked to filed it around August 2019 and I got approved September 30th 2021. about 80 days ago. so what is the reason for your dying slowly? if you are asked to filed i601 for whatever reason, you will be good at the end because you will be approved just make sure you have evidence to prove your case. keep on believing in God he will perfect everything at the end.

house on my ceac profile my DS260 chnaged to re open when i clicked its telling me to refill my DS260 form afresh but my waiver has not been approved yet. anyone experience similar issue ?

did you get a revoked on your i130 while your waiver was still in process? does it affect things?

nothing is revoke from me . I got my green card already thanks
