ITIN number while applying for SSN
I can’t renew my passport because I applied for my AOS, EAD, last month, my husband have to file his taxes and I’ve seen you can’t apply for ITIN and SSN at the same time, also I can’t apply for ITIN because my passport is expired and my only photo id, I’ve seen I can write down “ applied” instead of anSSN or ITIN, what to do
stuck on background check
I did my interview 14 months ago and I have been stuck on background check, the main problem is the time to renew the EAD.
of course I would rather get my green card, but I would be fine with the EAD for a while longer since it has been 4 years already.
the question is, does anybody get unstuck without sueing the government? all information I find is to sue the government, but I wonder what will happen if I don't. also wonder what will happen if I do, since some places recommend not to do so and sua USCIS may even deny your case. plus I dont want to spend 5k on it.
has anybody ever been out of this nightmare without the mandamus?

Any October 2021 filers? I-765
I saw a few people who filed in sepetember getting approval in January.
Was wondering if October files (National Benefits Center) have had any updates on their submission.
Also, does anyone have any feedback on how accurate the estimates are on the app?
Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application

ir5 change of service center
It is very frustrating and disappointing how uscis is processing cases, some of them are being approved withing months and some have to wait too long. This morning I had conversation with live agent and she told me that my case is been transferred to Vermont from Nebraska. i have no more hope now. I was so excited that my priority date was active and I will hear anything soon but looks like this is not happening soon..🥺🥺
still not approved
I know that they are people whose PD is further away than mine.
But it’s been 9 months, we only got under actively reviewing a month ago.
Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?
email our Senator?
upload more proof? (apparently any movement is good)
