it’s simply disheartening how some people have to wait 100’s of days whilst others get approved within a few months. it’s obvious there is no pattern to how they are working as things seem haphazardly done. Let’s pray luck never eludes us.

@anonymous my friend she applied in april for her parents and they are here last week in 10 months all her processing was completed. any idea which month and year cases are getting approved in vermont?

@boss lady my parents IR5 was approved on Feb 17th 2022 and I received a welcome letter from NVC two days after the approval and paid all required fees and I submitted DS-260 and I-864. now waiting for DQ and Interview appointment.

Thanks @boss lady. I filled i-130 for my mom and dad on June 03, 2021 and first their case was at Nebraska SC, and then they transfered my dad's case to California SC and my mom's to Potomac SC. Dad's first "actively being reviewed" was on June 21, 2021 and mom's was on Oct 03, 2021. Both are outside the US and i'm a US citizen. At the end the approval letter for both came from CA SC. I want to check on you because I remember commenting on some of your posts. I hope you'll hear something soon.

I know it's very frustrating to wait all these months but don't loss hope it will be sudden. I never expected it to be this fast because Potomac and California SC are well known to have huge backlog. I didn't got a chance to see my parents for many many years now due to some issues including the never ending medical school. Please @me here if you hear the good news. Have a good one.

@boss lady Sorry I don't know if the processing time is dependent on Country. But my parents are Ethiopians.

@anonymous me yes my parents got approved and their case was sent to nvc. i have suitted all the documents now waiting to hear from nvc? what about you? any update from nvc?

@boss lady wheeeew thank God. My parents case was got DQ'ed and sent to the embassy with in 2 weeks after submitting the required forms and documents, they are now waiting for an interview. I'm very happy for you.
