I believe so, as her ead will be linked to your L1 status

look into H4 and what’s needed for ead for that

I have both and asked this question to my lawyer today. you can have H status and have an EAD at the same tkme

@Dee Jane - I may be wrong here, but my understanding is, if the spouses current ead is linked to L status and then that primary person changes status, i think that spouses ead isn’t valid and they have to apply for an ead related to the H status.
