I filed my adjustment of status documents in November 2022 and my husband is a U.S. citizen. My I-130 was approved on June 8, 2023. I have received my work permit twice (June 9, 2023 and May 19, 2025). I had my I-485 interview on November 12 and about six weeks later my case changed to Request for Initial Evidence was sent on December 31, 2025 and I am still waiting to receive the RFE letter. I am experiencing anxiety and depression and I honestly cannot handle this stress anymore. Has anyone else had their I-485 interview and then received an RFE and how long did it take to get a decision after responding

Hello Guys, Hope all is well. My status was just updated on Next message will you get section from “ New Card is being produced to Request for initial evidence was sent”. But the actual status is still CRP. I am wondering if anyone here in the community has been in this situation? I am wondering what could it be the initial evidence they’re asking for? Please share your experience if you’re on the same situation. It will be greatly appreciated.

May 29, 2025 Request for Initial Evidence Was Sent April 2025 Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, was completed, and your case must be reviewed I have done my medical I sent to USCIS last year, I was wondering what else they asked I was reading post most likely Medical or Birth Certificates. please share your experience.

i Hope they ask for medicals only! Can i submit my medicals which i did on Dec 6 2023 i believe it is valid and indefinite ? waiting since Dec 2020 Now Hope for the best!
