Expedited VAWA Approved, I-485 Transferred to NBC, How much longer until I-485 is Approved?
Hello, My VAWA case was approved on October, 2022 after an Expedite Request. I-485 was transferred to NBC for faster processing.
Last I-485 update was on November 4th, 2022, “Case was Updated to Show Fingerprints were Taken. It has been around 4 months since then.
How much longer do i need to wait for any interview, medical, or approval notice?

National Visa Center Response Delay IR1
We submitted all documents on the 1st of July. Received that we were missing some documents and uploaded them all. Since July 29 2022 we have not heard back from them with a response. We are going now almost 6 months. I put in an inquiry in December and they let me know my "documents" were received and to look a the "Time Frames" They have passed the day they responded to my email inquiry and nothing. Has this happened to anyone? Any suggestions? #NVC #Approval #Response #IR1
Concurrent Filing was approved today!
F2A, we did concurrent filing in 2021/10, the case was processed at NBC, FO is Chicago. We just received the status update yesterday saying “The case is being actively reviewed by USCIS”. and today we got both 130/485 approved at the same time. Very grateful.
We should have sent ALL materials to be well prepared and it turned out to be what we expected: marriage certificate, joint Bank accounts, family photos, baby birth certificate;-) …. most importantly, and I-693 form!
I would say for those who filed the concurrent filing and waited for 15 months or so, you probably will hear a decision very soon. according to my past inquiries, USCIS said that a 12-15 months processing time is pretty normal.
Be patient folks, the best is yet to come, and wish you all good luck! As life moves on, so many things that are more important than Green Card, enjoy the life in the US, YOLO!

Our i-140 NIW was approved on Aug 11th, and we’re still waiting for any change in the I-485.

Green Card in hand finally. Thanks God and thanks to the wonderful lawfully community.
We are finally done with this super long journey that started back in Dec 2017.
1st motion to reopen received on 5/21/21. Case got reopened on 5/2/22 and GC production ordered the same day, approved on 5/3, mailed on 5/5, picked up by USPS on 5/6. GC received on 5/7, 5 days from case reopening.
Saying we’re happy is an understatement. We’re grateful to God for allowing us to reach to this point.
These last 6 months have been crazy with the last 3 being super intense (we had to take over as lawyer kept saying to wait indefinitely without doing anything).
We submitted (alone):
-6 cases inquiries (4 completed with no responses)
-1 tier 2 call received after 6 weeks of request just to get the wrong directions such as I-290b filing while case was never denied.
-2 congressional inquiries (which worked for EAD and AOS)
-New motion to reopen drafted and sent to FO (Initial one filed by lawyer was silent for almost a year)
-2 expedited requests (1 successful)
-FOIA request (Received)
-Medical interfiled 11 days before GC approval.
-Multitude talks through Emma (Some more confusing then others).

First thing is first, I just got my EAD and AP combo card mailed to me 🥳🎉. that was a long waited (more than 420days) - I hope this will encourage someoneto not lose hope!
Next, I wanted to check the confusing status of my I-140. This app shows as it reached decision since April, 2021. But the status title is "Document was mailed to me" ...
is this normal? is/was anyone in the same situation? Wondering if it is just the title not updated properly by USCIS?
My employer don't have the approval notice and reached out to the attorney representing the case.
