hello, I got an update on my case today that an interview is scheduled for July 31st, my dad who is a US citizen petitioned for me, I was hoping for my interview to be waived but that didn’t happen. I’m kinda worried , I’m now 23 should I go alone or should I go with my dad? has anyone heard of child of us citizen going in for a green card interview ?

if the i-130 is not being approved yet, take your dad too

I-130 was already approved. I’m not sure if I should take my dad, it’s just my I-485

@renica s Just have a copy of his Certificate of Citizenship and it’s easy as hell for you, your dad don’t have to come with you if he’s not chanced but you won’t be asked but yes or no question. It’s just this administration prioritize interviews regardless of category

@renica s I had similar situation. Went to my interview alone.. easy process,he doesn't have to accompany you because they consider you an adult. All the Best!
