Just noticed Case remains pending in case status online, and trying to understand what it means. My category (EB-1A) never (country of Birth: India) retrogressed this fiscal year and October 2022 bulletin says it’s still current. I am assuming CRP is nothing to do with retrogression and I am thinking about transferring the cases between centers/field offices. My case was with NBC from the beginning and recently got transferred to California field office for Medical RFE and my RFE was received at FO and after 6 days they changed it to CRP. does that mean that field office transferred back my case to NBC for adjudication?

all EB cases are in CRP now because they used up all visa numbers for this fiscal year. it’ll open up again next month once new fiscal year starts.

@SP, Looks like you have been waiting since June 6 on CRP. you could have received approval by now. few people with CRP received approval in less than a month. Did you spoke to Emma or tried calling the USCIS?

my case is transferred back to nbc too. what's your timeline looking like? cuz if anyone got crp after 6th its because of no visa availability. but anyone got crp prior to that like before August 31st, not sure why they are in that status...its too difficult to get anything out of it.

@Kavita, my case was changed to CRP on sept 6th. As USCIS advised in the RFE letter asking me to submit medical Report within 14 days and they will adjudicate my case before sept 30th. I submitted exactly according to their advice and My case is in EB1A category and it remained always current over the past year. How come VISA is not available for this category? I am thinking they might be delaying because of my dependent son whose biometric is pending as his case was submitted 3 months after me. They probably want to adjudicate all together at NBC. All EB1A applicants who filed with me at NBC in mid May 2022 got approved already.

all categories visas got over for this year. eb1, eb2, eb3. they just exhausted all the quotas. u shouldn't be worried. you'll get gc after 9/30. you may call uscis and find out more on your case.
