case remains pending
hi guys new here,
frustrated and lost please advice the following message is what I have received after interview and responding to the rfe should I be worried?
We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application.
my priority date is August 21

Depends on the officer who interviewed you, either they will keep your file in FO till Jan, approve it when visa becomes available. The FO might send it back to NBC and NBC will take its sweet sweet time send it to FO again when your PD is current which should basically be 1/1/2026. We can’t really say what’s gonna happen. If it stays in FO expect quick appoval else a long wait.

@December 2020 “Hello, I recently had my interview. During the interview, they did not ask for my medical, and I also forgot to give it. My case status still shows ‘Interview Was Scheduled’ even though I already attended the interview. Is this normal? What will happen since I did not submit my medical during the interview? They already have my signed Supplement J, job letter, and paystubs—only the medical is missing.

Pree I also didn’t bring my medical, I had an expired one but told me to get a new one. they sent me a rfe and after responding to it they have sent me above.

my priority date is august 27 , 2021 but never been called for an interview but I got rfe from California and now case is in nbc. anyone knows what going on?

@pree florez they will send you an rfe for medical then approve your case you could of went back to the field office and give it same day if you found out as soon as you went out it happened to my friend he went back and gave it and the officer accepted it

I thought they would not let me enter, so I came back home. But I heard that many people get a second interview if the medical is missing. Is that true? Also, my priority date is not current yet.

@pree florez it depends on the officer but you could of went back and show them the interview notice and let them know that you did your interview however you had a missing document the security will take you up and call asks you about the room you had the interview at and the officer clothes and he will call him for you and you will give it to him anyway just wish for the best
