hi guys new here,
frustrated and lost please advice the following message is what I have received after interview and responding to the rfe should I be worried?
We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application.
my priority date is August 21

Depends on the officer who interviewed you, either they will keep your file in FO till Jan, approve it when visa becomes available. The FO might send it back to NBC and NBC will take its sweet sweet time send it to FO again when your PD is current which should basically be 1/1/2026. We can’t really say what’s gonna happen. If it stays in FO expect quick appoval else a long wait.
