@Pritesh Jain I got CRP too and my category is EB1. The interesting is I received my CRP late August and your just received yours today? Could it be they have finished reviewing these cases and have put it under CRP pending visa availability? They received my rfe too in July ending

I am suspecting retrogression in EB1a category. My PD is Feb 2018, I didn’t receive such message.

@EB1 K USCIS announced on 27 August that they have used all EB1 visa numbers. What is surprising is why some have received case pending because visa is not availability while some have not received this message yet.

@Pritesh Jain, @Asomasi Yaw....this is interesting. Are both of you RoW? Just wondering how EB1 visa for RoW has been exhausted while EB2 RoW still has visas available. Which of both categories has more demand?

@Pritesh Jain I suggest calling them on 1st week of October and request for a reason for pending status. I wonder if they applied your Eb1 petition date compared to your Eb2 PD.

@Pritesh Jain, that makes sense. I suspect that EB1 visa might be exhausted for certain countries...the 7% rule. @Asomasi Yaw, what is your country of chargeability?

@Asomasi Yaw, this is becoming very funny. How come visas for the RoW got exhausted for EB1 buy not EB2? Does it mean that EB1 is now of more demand than EB2?

@Pritesh Jain, I still don't believe. Recall, every preference category receives a 26% of the total visa available. Within this category, say EB1, since am Ghanaian, we will have not more than 7% of the 26%. Now, can possible is it that my country has about 3000 applicants with EB1 petition? If it is EB2, I can agree. But for EB1, it doesn't make sense. #Istandtobecorrected!

we will have to wait for october, my PD is 2018, feb. hopefully they finish the processing by then and it would be just about assigning a visa number in october my case has been pending for 3 months now

mine cob is India and pd is March 2016, eb1 ported from eb2 filed on jun 10,2024. my status still shows finger prints taken/applied..

cob India, Eb1 ported to pd Jan2016 eb2. Filed on June 3rd. finger printing done but no EAD yet. I checked with emma if my case is pending due to visa number unavailability, agent responded that your case is not retrogressed but awaiting adjudication. Hopefully all processing completed by the time visa numbers become available on oct 8th. by the way my case is in Sandiego fo

@Pritesh Jain @kanfbt lejc @bm sa mine is filed in March, RFE responded on May. but still shows as RFE responded not changed to CRP yet after 3 months of RFE response

@Joe joe visa number shoul be available at the time of filing and at the time of adjudication completion. In your case it looks like visa number is not available to move ahead, hence the CRP.
