H1 B- Switching Jobs After EAD-Employment Based ? 1 Year ??
Hi Guys,
I have this query. How soon can one change jobs after getting i765 approved ? I'm asking this for my husband, currently on H1B. Yet to receive GC. Read in many articles that it's best stay for a Year Atleast after receiving GC, so there's not much trouble with the Citizenship processing. Is this true ? His work is really frustrating and he would like to change.
AC21 Job portability
I filed I-485 concurrently with EB2 to EB3 downgrade in october 2020.
My I-485 is pending 180+ days
My EB3 I-140 is approved in sept 2021.
I want to change my employer now, with same role as current employer.
is there any risk of invoking AC21 job portability rule?
Can my current employer withdraw I-140? will that cause revokation of I-140? Can withdrawal cause I-485 denial?

When to start applying to jobs?
I’m currently working in NYC at my current employer on an L1-A. I’m ready leave and start a new career. Estimating when I will get my EAD I think I should start recruiting around September given the process could take months. Is that too early? Thanks!

Unemployment Benefits w/pending EAD
Hi everyone. My wife lost unemployment benefits as her L2-EAD expired in late April. We’ve filed our renewal process on Feb 26th - so far without any major updates on this process.
Concrete question is, will she be able to apply retroactively for weeks she did not get unemployment benefits?

H1B and EAD simultaneous Jobs
I am on h1 and hold a job… and I married to a citizen and got a EAD. I had another job on EAD but the EAD expired and no response from uscis. so wondering should I revoke H1? since I think if GC get denied I can continue h1 and go thru i140 route. let me know if this will be a problem??
