Green card approved!! ✅🇧🇷✈️

Hi family! Wow, this was tough to endure but my case has finally been approved after just short of 1.5 years! I will finally be able to see my family in Brazil after 15 years of being away from them!! (I’m still looking for a job in tech, software engineer/web developer if anyone can help :)) Here’s my case in more detail: 1. Originally applied in Philadelphia on Oct 11, 2022 with lawyers. 2. Case went to NBC and was handled in Missouri. 3. Looking back at the forms, the lawyers made some mistakes and it freaked me out sooo much but clearly wasn’t enough to get me denied! 4. I received one RFE for medical exam and for new co-sponsor since my wife did not make the minimum salary required at the time. 5. No interview Those that are still waiting, I wish you all the best! Be patient, it’s a crazy process and no one fully understands it! I used to check every day until I accepted that this was going to take longer than I could imagine. Additional info: 1. On February 29th, I filed an inquiry for the I-485 hoping it would do something. On March 5th I got an email from USCIS assuring me my processing time is normal and that my case is awaiting review. It informs me I do not need to do anything at this time. 2. On March 7th, my I-485 case’s status changed to being actively reviewed. I-130 changed to being actively reviewed on March 9th. 3. On March 11th my I-130 got approved. 4. On March 15th I found a approval letter for my I-485 in the documents tab. 5. On March 27th (today) card was produced and picked up by USPS. 6. Estimated delivery time of March 30th. Summary: I don’t know if filing a inquiry had any impact. I had filed inquiries before and so did my lawyer. But it was very odd to see my case get approved after filing this inquiry! I was itching to upload evidence hoping it would increase my chances and since we had moved to another city but decided not to. I will hang around to answer any questions y’all might have!
