yep i did , more then 12 month is safe to files .

i know only one thing if we will wait and watch for green card , its gonna be another 5 year gone . i just took a. risk and chance . i know risky to file mandamus in this. era.

@I H the attorney said if they decided to interview you we will give them a time frame to adjudicate the case after interview, he said everything will be quick

@I H usually if you get interview that's a decision, so if pending after interview, you would have to wait 3-4 months, and then file new mandamus

$6K is pretty high, usually they charge $4.5K or as a good option you can do it as pro se, many times cheaper. Do youtube search "writ of mandamus pro se" to learn more

@I H depends on attorney and your agreements, you can file as pro se, and pay much less for it as my friend did, he was helped with it, youtube search "writ of mandamus pro se"

@I H I filed pro se today. Lawyers charge $5k-$10k for this. I will keep you posted. If USCIS calls you for an interview after mandamus, you just don’t file a motion to dismiss till you get your final decision, meaning that the lawsuit against them will still be active till they adjudicate your case.
