hey @Steven H the Lawyar I have bases the amount on our income. So I usually pay the form fees, and for her payment she bases it on my income.

@Steven H maybe you should try using your senator to do so. because alot of people i saw that got approved use their senator to make the request. and have you or your spouse gone to jail or prison before, or have been married or file i130 before?

You can sue USCIS on your own especially if you cannot afford an attorney, and it's much cheaper, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Youtube "writ of mandamus pro se"

@april 2022 congrats!! I've tried my congressman, he's a MAGA guy and flat out said he isn't interested in helping with immigration. Senator's office also just told me incorrect info and stopped responding. waiting for writ now. looking to just move to Europe or something else. feels faster at this point.

@april 2022 our Writ went through! about 2 weeks after, got approval right away! if anyone has doubt about using writ, don't. it totally works!
