i apply for work authorization on February 22 , 2021 and my biometric I did at September 16 , and I still waiting for work permit until now. that’s crazy

My case is very similar, I just would like to know the time between the biometrics appointment and the approval or denial decision. The TPS was supposed to be a quick process.

this time is 90 days by law. but because we are on pamdemic situation this time can go forward.

Nope, nothing yet. I’ve put a “complaint” in the USCIS webpage and I will have their response at december 27th. For the moment I’m still waiting.

I applied at Chicago and then I moved to FL

in which month you moved to Florida? after biometrics or before?

I did my biometric Octuber 1st. nothing since then :(

I moved to FL a few months before the biometrics, but I did the biometrics in Chicago and then changed my address to FL in the USCIS page

Hello, my case is the same as everyone's here, the application was received on April 20, on September 17, I did the biometric fingerprints and I'm still waiting for the approval of the tps and work permit this is insane.

i know… in another post here in Lawfully i read that you have to call USCIS and insist to talk with a live agent and then with an officer tier 2 through an appointment, the officer could help to speed up the case but the live agents are reaaaaally rude

I’m still waiting for my work permit too Daniela, and i don’t know anybody with an approval yet except that they had an asylum case already

also if you call USCIS you have to say that you’re in a extreme situation, you don’t have money to live because you don’t have a work permit and be really annoying

Well I tried to but the agent was really rude and he didn’t wanted to schedule an appointment with the tier 2 officer… but if you insist maybe you’ll get it

Another way to speed up the case is write/call the senator of your state (they usually have a web page where you can find the email or phone number to contact them) with your case and the reasons to need the approval

Well Dani dont worry about it, in mine they were requesting my answer in something about trafficking that i forgot or i couldnt fill (sometimes adobe doesnt work very well) in the form 😅… and you can send it online if you have the USCIS account

I sent it physically and online 🤷🏻‍♀️ i hope we can get an answer soon
