receipt takes 1-2 months. you will receive it. just be patient

@Highly favored blessed write USCIS a letter and on the letter indicate you submitted your EAD renewal (include the usps tracking and delivery notification letter if you have it)and haven’t received any feedback from them not even a receipt notice and so you don’t have a receipt number to reference, with the letter attach a copy of the i-765 form you submitted and the corresponding i-485 receipt notice, that way if they lost the original paperwork they can use the copies. They may or may not respond but you will get your work permit.

you will probably get notices this month. it takes two-three weeks to get notices plus there were holidays
