give it a week! i just got my combo too.. are you going to travel on it?
J RMay 24, 2022
@Toya's World okay awesome! congratulations!! I'm not sure, I think I might just wait til I get my greencard (hopefully). But it's good to know I have it incase of an emergency
Toya’s WorldMay 24, 2022
i was thinking the same thing.. eventhough everyone who says they used it didn’t have any trouble re entering. i wish I had it last year when my brother in law passed but thankful nonetheless. wishing you all the best on the rest of your case

I don’t want to wait more but I’m so scared to travel and have any problem when I come back. if you guys deside to travel please let me know.

congrats!!!🎉 are you IR or F2A?
J RMay 24, 2022
@Maria Tello congratulations to you too!! 4 years is a long time, I feel for you. I'm hoping that you get your greencard soon so you feel safer travelling home. After all this waiting I feel like I don't want any risks travelling, I know if I visited my family I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I should as I'd be anxious about traveling back to the States. I will let you know if I decide to though! Keep us updated if you hear anything about your greencard.

@Ebony M thank you!!🎉🎉
J RMay 24, 2022
@A F thank you!! I came over on a K-1 visa, so my now husband is a US citizen. So I think that makes me equivalent to an IR?
Maria TelloMay 24, 2022
@JR thank you! so just to let you know what to expect, I received my AP 5 days after approval, and my I-140 and I-485 were transferred from Texas to Nebraska on April 27 no undate since that, I advise you to be patient because I was really anxious after I received my AP I was checking this app every single day to check if it was a new update. we got this !! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

@maria mine is almost 8 years my combo got approved yesterday I'm leaving us the next day I'm receiving my card. there's always a risk but don't forget we still have risk with green card too! until we will become a citizen.
Alex KMay 25, 2022
@ L L there’s no risk with green card… Hardly any if that.
L LMay 25, 2022
@alex you can do your google search. I have been traveling to usa more than 10 years and once someone green card got canceled from Dhs at the door and this happened right next to me! every state rules are different one of my friend lost green card because he accidentally passed a school bus. but when you become a citizens you're closing uscis page from your life permanently.
