i am in same boat like you i have a pending u visa case since 2020 , and recently got married to us citizen so i filled concurrently i-130 i-485 and i-765 married based to us citizen , call today live agent to ask to expedite the i-765 related to my marriage to us citizen, they say they can’t access to my information and it’s a sensitive case why they said that and it’s Adjustment of status through marriage, do they put my recent case with the previous u visa case together? what do you think because my case looks like yours and you may have more experience than me ? when you try to check your i-130 they saying to you the same thing ? because you have a pending u visa ?

@I ch hello, i don't think one thing is related to the other. I submitted my U visa and work permit application based on U Visa on January 2018, according to the processing time for this type of cases is 61 months average, my case was in Vermont Service Center because at the time it was the only Service Center processing U Visas but 2 years ago they started to process U Visas cases in Nebraska, what they are doing is sending atleast 5 or 5 years ago cases from Vermonto to Nebraska to clear that out a little bit. Right now USCIS is working on U Visa applications submitted in 2017 and 2018. Family based applications are taking freaking forever though even if your petitioner is a US citizen, my I-130 was submitted in February 17th 2020 to California Service Center and took 2 years and 2 months to be approved, work permits are taking almost 9 months specifically my Field Office Newark is one the busiest in the country and schedule interviews are taking almost 1 year or 1.5 years. You have to be patient because is going to depend on your Service Center, Field Office and if the petitioner has criminal record or not, financially independence.

@I ch also I called my attorney to let him now that my work card is being produced through my pending U Visa and he said I'm not going to have any issues, we are going to wait till I received my work card and ss based on family case and he said he is going to return my ss card that I'll receive based on my pending U visa, also we are not going to withdraw my U Visa case till I have my green card in my hands because you never know. My pending U Visa is like my backup plan.

@I ch my attorney and I we never called, is a waste of time, very often they dont know what they are talking about and just say random information to not look like incompetents, just be patient, is not the first person saying called Live agent and give them wrong information like ",Their cases are in different services centers o Field office" if USCIS moves your case you will receive a notification, every move you'll receive a notification. Over 5 years I always receive a notification once USCIS they put their hands in our dusty files, dont even bother to call them.

@ Lisa I’m also at Newark. i submitted my aos packet last year November. I received combo card in July. did you submit your i-485 yet? Newark is so busy it’s about to be a year for me no interview :(

@J J 485 helio, i submitted my AOS in March this year because on March is when my husband finally became US citizen, before that I was unable to adjust ( I have unlawful presence). I didn't received anything yet, my biometrics appointments was on June 8th and still waiting 😥😥 for now I'll work with my work permit based on U Visa, let me tell you, this work permit based on U visa is valid for 4 years and the one based on AOS is only valid for 1 year. I just have to be patient waiting for my interview. Everything in Newark FO is slow, for my husband took 2 years and 2 months to get his citizenship, almost the same time to get approved my I-130.
