wait for your card and you'll see if it says "serves as advance parole". maybe they didn't update your AP receipt yet

@Roxy Richards @Mrkvica M. @tired from waiting guys I’ve just received the approval letter. it says class: c09 valid by 2029 it doesn’t say anything about AP. So it’s just work authorization? and if so, even they approve AP, is it going to be a separate paper or they may send another EA card with serves as advance parole details on i? thanks

@Ivan b they will probably send you a combo card but they sent you approval letter first while you wait for AP (my guess)

@Mrkvica M. That’s what I want to believe, maybe they will approve the AP soon and meanwhile they sent the EA approval notice and the card that I will receive will be both. but most of the people who get combo card they approve the advance parole in two days upon EA approval notice

@Ivan b what is your timeline of vawa. not i131 i am asking about i485. if it’s more than 3 years might be it’s going to get approved maybe that why you did not get it.

@mk k 2021, at the beginning of May, they accepted fingerprint fee for I-485. it’s around 2 years now

The same happened to me, actually my I131 change to “Closed” but when I got the card were both approved (combo card) for 5 years.

@JM . how many days after your I131 case is closed?

I131 was closed 10 days before my work permit was approved
