I applied for my Work Permit renewal on January 29th of 2024 | didn't get my receipt until April 23 after my lawyer sent an inquiry to the USCIS. I received a notification that said:case transferred to another office on June 09 and august 22: new card is being produced and august 23: case was approved and august 26: card was mailed to me.

it looks like it’s actually taking 7months for EAD approval

yes, it’s 7-8 months it just feels longer because you’re thinking about losing your job and you can’t pay your bills etc….

I applied at the end of April 2024 and it says 4 months processing time which would be nice end of August…anyone have a similar timeline?

Thank you for your sharing. it seems that the process takes longer than 6months. I filled I765 in April. I could have an update in November in this year.
