@S Z I think the confusion here is because per her post, there is no longer a pending case for her. husband withdrew. She wants a tourist visa in lieu of withdrawn petition. Hope that helps clarify and someone may be able to assist her in her question.

Well this is an interesting situation… hope you get the help you need to fix whatever you and your husband are going through… to answer your question… as long as you’re still married to your husband you might have challenges doing that… but I have heard stories of others not having any issues… as someone in the comments said… I believe where you are coming from also play a part. Try contacting your local US embassy to find out.

thanks y’all I’m in Jamaica and yes I received notice that action was taken on my case and when I checked the status it was withdrawn and only the petitioner can do that

It is very important that you know what the letter that was sent to immigration for the withdrawal of your case said, which is not there since you wanted to use it to get to the United States. @renica s

i think most people in this community try to frustrate people when they’re going through distress! why it was withdrawn is none of ya’ll business!! the answer to that is whether you filed your case inside the US or outside and only a lawyer would be able to really give you details on that
