hey do you mind explaining how to do this? my husband is also in the military

sure! so military spouses get the benefit of PIP (Parole in Place). You have to submit a form I-131 and write in Military PIP in the Advance Parole type to your nearest field office which is free until April 1st. Once your Military PIP/I-131 is approved, you will receive a form I-94 which will parole you into the US. You can now apply for a AOS and Visa.

for immigrants with military spouses, open this link. we got our case done for FREE! Our lawyer helped us out so much and she stuck it out with us for 2 years! it’s a benefit to the military and not much active duty knows about this. https://www.aila.org/library/military-assistance-program

I think military PIP applies for reserves too. Depending on your status, if you entered the US lawfully then you should apply for your 485 and 130. If you’re undocumented or under DACA, then you will have to be paroled in place which requires the I-131 to be approved so you don’t have to leave the US
