WHY WOULD USCIS DO THIS?

I have been reading that an advance parole does not guarantee one’s re-entry into the U.S. Why the hell would you grant someone and advance parole, but restrict them? I really want to visit my home country but this restriction is holding me back. What are the conditions that would restrict one from re-entering the U.S with an advance parole?

@D@ddyB Zuniga I won’t advise you to go anywhere, yes I understand you miss your family but that 1% chance you might not be allowed back into the U.S is not to be overlooked, be wise. Your family can always wait, if you get refused re-entry and you get stuck there, you will regret your life. Obedience is better than sacrifice. Good luck 👍

just my 2 cents, some people apply for asylum ->getting advance parole and then traveling to their home country! it means that there is no fear to come back and reentry will be denied.

listen to @ricka mc unless you came here and filed asylum in which case you going back home invalidates your application. if you're married here, go ahead and visit your family!

unless you were in removal processing , if you were not and have no criminal records, go and see your family. coming back you will be taking to secondary inspection just to check if your application is still pending. enjoy

@Aj Raf hi im with same situation.i have pending case and i wanna travel but i was in removal proceeding. right now i got my court dismissed and im no longer with removal proceeding. so what do you think travel or not ??

hi @Mike Jor I’ll suggest you speak with a lawyer first, if at all you end up leaving make sure you have all your paperwork and approval letters with your court dismissal letters. everything necessary. please be careful
