Why is NVC taking so long?
I would like to know how long will it take for NVC to schedule a interview at the Mumbai Consulate in India? It's been quite some time. Is it a long processing time, or any of that sort? oh my god can you please listen to each and every prayer who are far apart from their loved ones!

Don't wait for them to do it. If they already sent your documents to the Embassy. Call the embassy. Call them every day

does DQ mean case at embassy. is the wait time same for US citizen and green card petitioner? im US citizen filing for spouse

I think it is now in the hand of the US embassies around the world and how much slots they have available. I think once DQ'd by NVC and file in transit it's all about the Embassy/Consulate......you can call/email but as others say if they are backed up they will say still at NVC
