I've been on active review since March 23 2022. I filed Sept 30 2021. it's ridiculous

There’s no time frame unfortunately. Our case has been actively reviewing since November 9th 2021 🤦🏽‍♀️

Some USCIS agents tell us 8.5 yet some people are approved with 1 to 6 months

Why is there obvious favoritism?

Sara k, do you have a chance to visit your husband while y'all wait? I told my husband that I might stay with him until we get approved. The traveling is annoying but so is this.

Hello Mia, did you get any update? also what was the process after you submitted the application you got tje receipt and how did you know it’s in Cali? I am in the same situation and the receipt saying Nebraska service center.

Hi Jo jor, we are still in the actively reviewing stage. We got a receipt number about a month after we submitted our case. We spoke with an USCIS agent and she told us where the case was located. We are getting impatient with waiting for biometrics and the rest of the process.

California Center is a joke, I swear. No one should have to wait 1 year or more to be with their loved ones.

I just got my notice today that USCIS is actively reviewing my case ". then I looked at Lawfully's prediction and it said that "78% are approved in 14 days". Got all excited. Then I read people's real world experiences. I don't know, maybe the happy 78% are just quiet.

BTW. My wife is from Morocco. But I've been to Jordan a couple of times. I was pretty serious with a Jordanian lady a few years back. Great person, but had no intention on coming to the US because of all THIS 🤣 Actually, it was mostly because she didn't want her daughters growing up here. I can tell you horror stories of what she went through with immigration. But it is a beautiful country. Amman was a little crowded for me though. Aqaba was a little too "deserty". But people are awesome, food was to die for (I like anything Mediterranean) and OMG! the history!

Yes, Amman is too crowded but my husband is from Salt city so it's more like my hometown. I wish I could go back to be with him until he gets here.

since November 21. So I really can't complain. But to get that message, and then read "78% aporoved in 14 days" got me spinning. Then reality set in. I try to get to Maroc about every six months. I was there all last Summer. But keeping families separated for years is as I American, and absolutely indecent as it gets. One of my closest friends married a lady from South Africa. He is an active duty soldier, which means she is a military dependent. it still took her three years to get here. She just came here April this year. To be completely honest, were it not for my 11 year old son, I would put the US in my rearview mirror and never look back. I'm a lot more welcome there than she is here. obviously.

Same with me. I swear if my husband couldn't send me back to Jordan I would. I have a 5 year old son from a previous marriage to a Yemeni. I swear if someone gifted me airfare, I would surprise my husband haha

Mia respectfully, this isn't about money. The lady from Jordan that I was involved with years ago, goes through the same issue when coming to the US, and her family owns malls. My French stepson, who delivers pizza, just gets on a plane and gets his passport stamped in San Francisco. This is about something else besides income, and I'm sure that you know what it is.

Trust me, I know the deal Robb.

I think they were approved according to the timeline. my case is just getting to NVC after filing a correction. husband is also in jordan, so now we go through the NVC process. hope you all get approvals soon

@Sara k, yes. We're waiting for the American embassy in Jordan to approve everything else.

It took us almost 1 year to get approved and we've been waiting for our interview since July 31.

I have been waiting for the interview as well , NVC requested more docs from us and after submitting them we were DQ on 10/11/2022! do you if there is a time line for the waiting on the interview?

@ala majid usually NVC takes 60 days to review docs after submition you can check their time line on their website

we have close dates ! Did you hear anything yet about the interview! I was told it takes up to 4 months to get it scheduled! am not sure if this is true !

I was reading the US embassy in jordan website and it says If your case is at the US Embassy Amman and has not been scheduled by National Visa Center, please send an email to: support-Jordan@ustraveldocs.com. not sure if this would speed things up or not.
