Which visa will be issued IR1 or CR1?
If I enter US two years after marriage, but the green card was approved from embassy (not issued, as it is issued when we land at airport imo) before two years of marriage were completed, which visa they will give me at airport CR1 or IR 1 Any idea?

@shubhanshu pandey It goes by the date at which you enter the US. Bring a copy of your marriage certificate and ask the border agent to change it to the 10 yr GC :)

@teetee fabulous No, it was approved before two years anniversary. But, owing to the processing times, I am gonna emd up hitting two years mark if I chose to wait for few months before arrival. we do have 6 months to go once the visa is issued by embassy.

when you get to the airport ask the officer to change it to IR-1. your situation is exactly the same as mine was, interview before 2 years married, entered 1 month after 2 years anniversary, asked officer to change, he did, got the 10 years gc.
