so everyone’s receipt number has IOE in it? I had received two receipt papers on the same day, one from Texas and the other from Potomac. the Potomac one is the one that had the login information, the Texas one just has a receipt with the payment information and which form was received

what does MCT mean then I have adjustment of status marriage based IOE and then a student F1 visa reinstated is MCT and I can’t get any information online. I had a bio appointment scheduled according to this app but sent nothing and there is no record online and then all my IOE I can get info on

@Saadia does your case number have IOE? not every one has IOE number i have IOE and im at nbc

i got this from google MCT is a code associated with I-539 Change/Extension of Status. The service center associated with the filing can be found at the bottom left side of the USCIS Receipt Notice

@morgan when you made lawfully and you had to put your case number what service center did you pick?

@morgan why are you filing for F1 reinstatement when you have a pending Adjustment of status, it doesn’t make sense. once ur adjustment of status is approved ur f1 reinstatement will be denied cuz benefit was gotten through Aos. this is just waist of money lol. all you needed was AOS.

both were Texas and yes I know it’s a lot of money but I’m still in college I just graduated and entered another course and to stay eligible for school my school said I had to and honestly I just didn’t want any gaps or chances to cause concern

@one of a kind my case number begins with IOE which is why I was confused because people say that the first three letters tell which center your case is at. did you receive your receipt notice from nbc?

@morgan I understand but you didn’t need to file for reinstatement except you went out of status. you could hv just told ur dso to extend ur i20

I tried but I changed colleges and because of my DSO never responding or being helpful I became out of status for like 2 weeks max and they never offered to extend my i20 and said my only option was to reinstate and now after filing I get more assistance from this community than those at my school who were supposed to know how to help.

@morgan haha I know right those dsos are the worst. same thing happened to me. she was the one who took you offstatus without telling you. crazy folks. when did you file for f1 reinstatement and AOS?

I filed adjustment of status maybe two weeks before reinstatement and I haven’t gotten anything back but I have my AOS interview Thursday so I know that overrides when it’s approved I’m also trying to be an optimistic
