My attorney said that as long as PD is current and outside of normal processing, I can submit. However, I don't find processing times for NBC on USCIS website.

Check who is your local congressman or senator. they all have websites and standard process to contact them related to immigration matters is on their website. follow that. they also have their local office contact number to contact directly and they will guide

@P N - thank you
Alyssa KeysMar 7, 2025

@saurabh gupta @ I had the same query and my attorney asked me to choose my field office to check the processing time

12.5 months is the standard answer. most congressman wouldn’t be able to help until then .

your case is not above the normal processing time. your field office (mentioned in your finger print notice) or closest one will be where you need to track
saurabh guptaMar 8, 2025
@Mike Echo - I think the drop down values have been changed. it just says all other centers (or something like it) and estimated time is 12.5 months

@saurabh gupta you can't submit now.. too early

@saurabh gupta 1 year is a long wait time if you are current. go ahead and send White House request. expect an answer in 30 days. we got lucky and got a good response via White House response. expedited our case which was pending status even though current for 2 months. got our cards in 6 months. you can also try to expedite via putting service ticket, sometimes you would get lucky on phone.
saurabh guptaMar 11, 2025
@a JM k - is it through local congressman or something else directly with white house.

@a JM k can you please share when did you submit the White House request (date) and when did you get the approval ? also please share what phone number you called .
a JM kMar 16, 2025
@battling giants I requested via White House late September 2024. got our cards in mid November 2024. call back from USCIS (triggered by White House request) said within 60 days I should have the case resolved and also said they were just waiting for green card numbers.
a JM kMar 16, 2025
@saurabh gupta I tried congressman and White House. congressman didn’t respond but White House request helped. it’s case by case. I suggest if congressman request pending for more than 30 days, call congressman and request for expediting. wait another 30 days. if that does not help repeat the same with White House request and put in a request. have all the documents printed and ready. you might want to keep it handy in case you are ready to sue USICS if beyond the normal processing time for your location.

Finally, Got good news. My GC is approved on 17-Mar.

hi how to know where (meaning which field office or NBC) my application is at? my application is in CRP status now and my PD is current for FAD is there anyway to connect to an agent to speed up the processing of the I485 application?
saurabh guptaApr 7, 2025
@Jayam Nataraajan - My application remained pending in CRP status for almost 2 months. So pls be patient and hope you also hear the good news soon. I don't think even agents would help to get it expedited. Good thing is Visas are still available else dates would retrogress.

@saurabh gupta : Thanks Saurabh!
