what’s wrong with the national benefits Center?
processing times for I-765 (employment authorization) at the national benefits Center (based on pending adjustment of status) is 28.5-37months while every other service Center shows 3.5-5.5 months?! why is this? my employment authorization was sent to the national benefits Center and I feel screwed over and have no idea what to do. does anyone have any idea why stuff is taking so much longer at the national benefits Center compared to other service Centers?

Sit tied, it’ll be faster than u think! NBC is responsible to get all I-485 cases together and send out to the offices for an interview! they are working over loaded! however me and my wife did apply back in May for Ead renew! my wife end up IOE and me MSC, tho I was screw and would have to wait forever! she received her card with an few weeks! me I received month and half ago! was worried because my ead would expire on 10/15! we both got the 2 years card! however our I-485 that was sitting on NBC since 02/25 this year, got the message this past Friday that 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 was being produced! and today receive the approval as well! don’t relay to much on USCIS site! as said they are over loaded and lots of going on there! hope you get it soon! My prayers!

Linda the notice of action you got extends your work permit by 90 days, so you’ll be fine.
