What kind of selection method USCIS is using???
It is very confusing how the USCIS service centers select and process cases. Are they using LIFO(Last In First Out), Cases they find infront of them or random key generator softwares? because they are jumping between cases like a kid on trampoline.

Anonymous Me - yes, all the above answers are correct. USCIS says to process cases as they receive them, and for cases like asylum, last in first, but the reality is different. Anonymous user summed it up: it depends on the agent and it's random. but there is more to it, too. it also depends on whether expedite requests or premium processing were filed, backlog was somewhat caught up in some centers, rotation of some cases, etc. no one really knows but USCIS.
