What documents to apply SSN?
Hello,
What documents did you bring to SSA to apply for SSN?
Trying to get one for wife and it has been 10 days since we got our GC in the mail but haven't received SSN yet.
Thinking of going to SSA office in person this week.

Did you go to the SSN office yet? I am also wondering if we need to go to the SSN office or the card will be mailed to us

I haven't received either. I read in SSA that we need passport and GC to get a new ssn. let me know if you have any other info as I'm planning to go
