what a sense of relief! May 11 PD, i-765 approved today!!
Been off work since June, with first 12 weeks mat leave and then since September, I've been anxiously wondering when my permit was coming in. In late October I finally reached out to my Congressman and worked over the last month to expedite with them and directly with USCIS / Emma. Got a call today from the Congressmans office that my case moved to the top of the pile and a few hours later, got the "Card is being Produced" alert on my phone. Tears of joy! It's been wonderful to have so much extra time with my newborn, but I hated draining the savings account too. God is good! All week last week and this week I just kept telling myself, it's happening this week, it's happening, you're getting that notice any moment!
Best of luck to you that are still waiting, because it is so hard! It will feel so good when it finally happens, just hang in there!

to reach out to my congressman I just googled for my state and area and then they literally had a tab on their website to submit a request to help with federal agencies. they reach out to me within a few days and explained you need to justify your expedite request and sign a release for the Congressman to represent you. I justified by financial loss, US benefit because I work in food manufacturing and non profit because my husband does non profit contract work. I just tried to think of anything and everything. they sent it on November 22 to USCIS.

I sent the info to my congressman on the 18th, called her to confirm she received it on the 22, and basically as I was on the phone she put together her submission to USCIS. she told me she would follow up at 30 days but actually she followed up sooner than that obviously.
