not normal, call SSA so they can check it and. if none, make an appointment so you can apply for one. they’ll guide you.

Same happened to me. After 3 weeks I just went in to social security office and re-applied. Good thing too as USCIS mixed up my parents' information. After that I got it in a week.

lot of people here posted that they applied the same time during filing but USCIS failed to apply for one. so do it yourself. won’t hurt you and ur case

some offices accept walkin, others need appointment. so call the nearest SSA to confirm. or just go there and check if its not toooooo far

its been 27 days since i got EAD card and haven't received anything. On november 22nd i went to the Social Office and applied for one in person. Its expected to come in 2 weeks

one more question. what did you provide them? just ead? or ead and passport. I am an asylum applicant and my passport has been taken by CBP officers so I don’t have my passport on my hands

yes, i went to the office and they asked for EAD and i gave them my passport but u can use any other document that has proof of your age and identity

hi, as of now im still waiting, the website status still says "returned to agency"

you can try to call any local sea office and ask them do you have a number already or not yet. if you do, you can just one more time go to the SSA and ask them what is going on with your card I applied on Friday, and I got a paper with info that my card will come within 2 weeks, reached out to the local SSA today and was told that there is no number assigned to me yet
