walk in biometrics
my biometrics was scheduled yesterday to Jan but because my EAD expedite is in hold, I tried to do walk-in today with a doctors letter. the supervisor was nice and they did my bios. 10 minutes later, both I-765 AND I-485 changed to case is being actively reviewed by Uscis. it didn’t show fingerprints were taken so does this mean my fingerprints were already applied?

The system doesn’t update ‘just like that’ all the time. It does lapse from time to time. You know your finger prints were taken, it’ll show in due time. Give it some time, you’ll see the change. Good luck.

Mine never said fingerprints were taken, it just went straight to "Case being actively reviewed by USCIS"

Had my biometrics taken last week Thursday, and my case status never changed. It remained at “case was received” until yesterday, it changed to “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”.

Hi there! Do you have any suggestion regarding the walk in fingerprint collection? I mean like what type of reason can I give to increase my chance of success? or what is the best timing? I am a healthcare worker/physician btw

they are giving biometrics very fast so I don't recommend hurry up you can expedite later your EAD
