waiting period
I have (along with so many others) have waited more than 300 days. We are all looking for our decision. Can they focus on those that have been waiting patiently for so long to get approvals vs those who have applied later on. I’m happy for those who have received their approvals. But to be fair can they focus on those who have been waiting longer 300+ days. Soon we will have been waiting a year for a program that was supppose to give you a response within 45-90 days. If it’s more people that need to be hired then please do so. There are many people looking for jobs.
Even with the lotto of picking people randomly daily it should still be focused on those who have applied first. How much longer should we wait. 250 days 290 days 300 + days. Where is the fairness in that. Has the months of January and February been forgotten.
We would like some answers or maybe an explaination on how the process is being done. How those who applied in August are already approved and in the US and those that applied in Jan. & Feb. are still waiting with no updates no nothing. and when you call you get generic responses. it’s still being processed if something is wrong wit. your application we will contact you.
We are thankful for the Biden program. we truly are. It gives us hope to one day be with our families in America to a better opportunity at life and learning new things. And be able to provide better. We just want our chance.
Those applicants waiting 300+ days should be priority when processing the paperwork. We are human and we want a chance at fairness.

I totally agree with you. My friend applied for his wife and two children since January 2023 now. We are in 2024 one year. I really don't understand what's going on. Why do we still have people from January and February still waiting and they are still accepting applications.I feel like the green card process is quicker. I applied for my cousin in April. I have called them. They all says the same thing. It's like hearing a robot!!!! They never say anything different. This is a humanitarian program for are family to join us. It doesn't feel right. I know so many people that just give up and took different strategy. This really really makes no sense at all.

it’s truly sad. You offer some can of hope with no results. people who have applied after Jan and Feb are already in the UD with his their families. And again I’m happy for those people. but it’s hurtful at the same time because I’ve applied before them and I’m still waiting. that’s painful. it’s like dangling food in front of a hungry child. this waiting period is insane.
