Waiting Game
How long after I130 approval comes the I485 approval? I have been waiting since 2021 at Baltimore field office and my husband had to reach out to Congress to only get the I130 approved 4 days ago and I485 still actively reviewing. Both cases are straight forward, everything submitted and up to date and filed jointly.

My i485 went into review on Feb 15th. my i130 went into review Feb 28th and 20mins later I saw approval document. Feb 29th the status itself changed to approved. Then same day (29th) i1485 approval for me. Definitely looks like the time frame is different for everybody on the time between i130 and i485. Really hope all is approved for you soon!

Thank you, both actively reviewed same time then I130 approved and I485 remains the same. It's frustrating fa real... Nothing outstanding going 3 years in August!!!

@Siobhan , that was fast. Congrats. Did you use a Lawyer or a Representative? I’m at National Benefits Center from the same month as you and Nothing

both cases were at the same center for you. So I can see the reason why they would be approved on the same day. Congrats

@mel bae no I didnt use anyone. i sent everything in one go, medical etc. I do feel very lucky to have the approval the way I did. I was hoping to more give the advice that the i1485 could come really fast now for you. I also saw my approval notice for i485 just before it changed. So definitely keep looking at the documents tab! I really hope its soon. The wait for this stuff isnt enjoyable
