Waiting for my I-130 to be approved
hi guys! i hope y'all can give me some sort of advice or suggestions of what i can do. my husband and I filled for I-130. He's a permanent resident and I'm living outside the US. we submitted the case on July 7 2021 and the last update I received was on Feb 21 2022 they're reviewing the case and nothing else. I'm so hopeless actually and I feel so tired about this. I'll receive any advice from you guys. #I-130 #F2A

we are in the same situation, my date is July 9 and the last update was in March and we are still waiting for nothing, USCIS does not understand that there are separated families and they do not expedite a fiancé visa instead they approve it faster

i think the processing time for your situation at the california center is 24.5 months. looks like you might have to wait another 1.5 years.

it took 2 years for our case to be approved at California service center

Ive been waiting since Dec. 2019 and as of this January it changed to “actively reviewing” I did an expedite request but all i got was a letter saying that im line for an interview. Which is a response ive been getting from my other service requests . No clear yes or no to expedite. I feel just as hopeless

@Yalenni, you probably need to speak with a live agent in USCIS. They’ll be able to tell you exactly what’s going on, if your case is treating normally or outside processing time. It sucks to be separated from your family that long but it is what is it. I’ve been there, my application is going on 16months already. You can also talk to your congressman and senator. It helps too.

@Andy i tried to chat with a live agent but it’s impossible..

Call the 1-800 uscis number and say info pass once you are asked to say your purpose of calling. And wait for about 5/10mins to talk to a live agent
