waiting for interview
i am an asylee with pending asylum case but I studied nursing and my employer filed for my eb3. I-140 has been approved but due to the asylum, my case could not be sent to NVC of my country. my employer has written to nvc of some other countries to accept me as a third Party country for me to attend my interview but no response yet.
does anyone has idea/experience with this or an opinion of what I need do?

it would be better to consult a lawyer. what country you from?

a lot of people go to Canada or Mexico, consulate there and there are aware of the process. or pick any country other than your home country you can go to without a visa.

@chil udex, I think some employers understand this process more than others. My employer has filed for several pending asylum nurses and they already gotten their greencards without getting out of the country. There is a waiver if you didn't get out of status or not overstay for more than 180 days before applying for asylum. I'm also in the same boat waiting for adjudication on my AOS.

@kdj A can you get me more details so that I can inform my employer? I did not stay a week before filing for asylum and never been out of status.
