Waiting for Interview appointment
Hello everyone,
I got Documentarily qualified by NVC on 2nd November, 2023 and now currently waiting for my interview appointment from the US embassy in Fiji..
My timeline is as follows:
28/10/2022- Filed I-130
20/09/ 2023- I-130 got approved by USCIS
23/09/ 2023 - Received welcome email/ letter by NVC
24/10/ 2023- Submitted all the required fees, form and civil documents
02/ 11/ 2023- Documentarily qualified by NVC
it’s nearly 3 weeks now and have been actively waiting for the interview appointment from the US Embassy Fiji. I hope I get to hear something very soon..

same my husband got DQ November 3rd and still no interview letter… embassy is in Serbia

@A N Hopefully soon! I want to ask you a question if you don't mind. Did your spouse sent you his police record from Fiji and then you uploaded it to NCV online? I told my husband that soon he may need to send me his police record, he said that his cousin told him, that the police will only send that one to the embassy in Fiji.lol.

@lili mali Hi.. Your husband is correct. He doesn’t need to upload the police clearance on the NVC portal. They will send it directly to the embassy. He’s still going to get documentarliy qualified without uploading the police clearance. I hope this helps out..

@A N Thank you so much for the help. I was a little worried about that. I'm still in the process of filling up the ds-260 ..didn't want to get to the end and it'd ask me for that :) Good luck for your case and hopefully soon you'll hear from Suva soon!
