Waiting for i-130 Approval
One year has passed and I still haven't received the approval for i-130. My case was submitted to the Texas Service Center. It seems that their staff has been reduced, and cases are taking longer to be approved. The time has doubled over time due to government leadership. From early March 2024 onwards, we can observe similar cases receiving approval. On May 12, 2024, my case was submitted. I hope I will hear good news soon. If you have a similar process time, please share your story.

@Waseem Akhter you have a bit more to go. currently it's taking about 14.5 months to approve. they're only now finishing up February 2024 cases.

I have similar case like yours, I submitted my i 130 petition for my under age kids on May 1st 2024 but still awaiting approval, I submitted all documents including positive DNA results but till now,I am awaiting. hoping to receive in the next few months but, if I don't receive till August, I think I will see the our congress representative.

@n h It shows 6 months under the progess bar. It's not accurate based on what I have seen. It came up to 1 week twice and then went back to 6 months.

@Rikh N this is not normal. Are you us citizen if yes then you need to contact your congressman/woman and see what’s going on.

me and my friend apply in same day, same day of received February 28, 2024 and with same lawyer, her case just got approved today while mine still no update. hope they approve it as will

hey guys, I am very glad to inform you that my immediate relatives petition I 130 with priority data 1st may for all my 3 kids have been approved today 07/23/25. I am now waiting on NVC response
