mine took 10 months to get my new EAD card, however now showing that waiting time is 9.5 months.

@Shoni A it is under C9 ? or c 11. also did you recieve the reciept, my lawyer said I can use it as an extension, I did used it before and it works just with my expired EAd

@idk 😐 everyone case is different, don’t stress, I knew isn’t easy to not able to work , I was not lucky in my processing time line , my first EAD card took 6 months to approve, however; my second one took 10 months to get approve , officer who works on my application is lazy and asshole , on my second one country of birth is not current, just asked for replacement of that , my VAWA is waiting for 37 months nothing is changed. this timeline is endless.😭😭😭

@hope hope hi, I have a question for you - what do you mean by that “country of birth is not current”? I submitted work permit renewal last summer with the birth certificate that I used my marriage Gc application (void now). my birth certificate was issued in 2021. is it ok? I asked my attorney if there is any expiration date for birth certificate issue. he said no so I used that.

@skylar . my story is different, I am citizen of two different countries, one by brith and another by living there , officer of my appreciation mixed up these two countries.
