also I understand Vermont field office has been closed and cases transferred to other field offices. which may or may not delay approvals…

@Luella Ali after the reciept letter all you can do is wait. It takes about 15.5 - 16months. You can register with visa journey. I got my updates from there. Mine took 16 months. Good luck.
