did you apply for the 485 back in 2021 or u waited for vawa being approved?

@Don't lose hope my vawa was approved September 2024 and they received my medical March 5, 2025, I am also still waiting and can't get a good answer each time I call. its ridiculous, we have been through so much and still has no freedom. My c31 work permit expires in sept then I'll be out of a job, lawyer applied for renewal in March. I dnt even know when am going to get receipt notice bcuz everything is taking forever and no more automatic extension. Am so stressed out.

@Love ❤️ I recently got fired because of the stress. I can't maintain a good job with this. I don't know where I will live or if I can afford living here.

@Don't lose hope am worried too, I have a mortgage, car payment, credit card bills, and new born. I dnt know how am going to manage if I can't afford to pay my bills if I don't get an approval before September.

@D T hi , when is your vawa approved ? because I have the same situation my vawa got approved march 2024 since then no movement at all on my 485 no RFE no interview, I request a lot of inquiries but nothing help.

@D T awesome did you get your 485 approved? did you tired to send inquiries through congress before you filed lawsuit ? i did but nothing happened.

@fifi fifi, no I am waiting for I-485 for a long time, VAWA approved March 2025. I have sent multiple inquiries but no or generic responses. What is your field office?

I’ve been waiting since 2021. Vawa approved July 2024 after tired of waiting I send out an enquiry with my congressman, we got a response 18 days after saying my i485 is on paused because I didn’t reponded to a rfe back in 2021! the rfe was for me to File the i360 and send proof of the receipt which I did! so now me and my lawyer put all evidence together send medical and hoping for the best!

@sandy sand that is awesome I’m sure you will get approved soon, my vawa has been approved since march 2024 , and I did 5 inquiries and the response was they still reviewing my case . and still waiting

I wish they can tell what is the issue
