as far as I know..he/she doesn’t need an invitation but that particular person will have to apply and wait for approval for visitor visa

A invitation is not necessary. They can visit if they have a tourist visa.

I see that you’re Jamaican and these responses have no idea what you are asking about. I am a Jamaican too. yes you can send them an invitation letter only if it’s for a special event. like graduation, baby’s birth, wedding things like that.
